Collection: Region Jura
The Jura is a small, distinctive wine region in eastern France near the Swiss border, known for its cool climate, limestone soils, and highly individual styles. Centered around villages like Arbois and Château-Chalon, it produces both oxidative and fresh wines from local grapes such as Savagnin, Poulsard, Trousseau, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
The region is especially famous for Vin Jaune, aged under a veil of yeast (similar to sherry), as well as light reds and increasingly popular natural and low-intervention wines. Jura wines are often marked by high acidity, minerality, and a unique, sometimes “nutty” or savory character.
